Preface

I honestly can’t believe this is happening. I’ve been thinking about starting a software-related blog for quite some time, but I’ve been reluctant. There were many reasons, which mostly come down to this:

I feel the web is already oversaturated with content that often focuses more on building personal brands than delivering actual value.

I don’t necessarily think there’s anything wrong with that approach. I simply couldn’t see how my contribution would add value to an already overcrowded space.

Over time, I came to realize that people write for various reasons, and that’s perfectly fine as long as I can identify motivations that resonate with me and build upon them.

So here I am :)

My Goals

I see this blog as a work in progress. While I have a rough idea of what I want to do and achieve, I’m perfectly fine with refining the why as I go along.

  • As note-taking is an essential part of how I learn, I plan to invest more effort into refining these into posts to make them shareable and easily accessible. For now, I envision this space as a repository for my recent learnings, thoughts, and opinions.
  • I’d like to practice defining my thoughts in a clear, concise and opinionated way. I believe this will help me communicate better with my peers and grow as a professional.
  • I hope to build a network of like-minded peers by posting related social media content, e.g. on my Bluesky. Where will this journey lead? I’m not sure, but I’m excited about the experiment.
  • As a non-native speaker, I see this as an opportunity to polish my English (what else should I do as a Pole, right? ;)).
  • I aim to publish at least 12 articles this year.

Keep your fingers crossed, and I’ll see you in future posts!
